Midnight Island Shoot

I was happy with the location of the shoot, but my makeup and hair artist girls both agreed that they would consider this photographer a "GWC." Otherwise known as "guy with camera!" haha. He was all about getting those tasteless shots, when I was aiming for a very artistic "atherial-mermaid" feel. He kept asking me to lower my bikini bottoms and I would just ignore him. Then at the end when I was all sandy and wet from literally laying in the ocean for that last "money shot," he followed me up to the showers and I noticed him adding a flash attachment to his camera...and then he said, "oh we gotta get those shower shots!" And I just snapped around and said, "This session is over, thank you. I will meet you at the car." Creep! haha. But I did get paid...and never worked with this GWC again. ;)

Summer Dream Shoot

I did a "summer dream" themed shoot this past July with a Swedish photographer. This was my first time working with a Swedish photographer, and it was totally different, and might I even say a little "awkward" haha! I took my boyfriend and my Mexican friend with me, as I always bring at least one friend with me to photoshoots. This was a "blind" meet you could say, as I only had contact with this guy via internet. But nothing could have prepared me for his awkward anti-social personality. After the shoot, we met up a week later at his apartment to choose the winning looks. But he was again, very awkward and didn't even offer us a typical Swedish "Fika!" (traditional coffee break.)  Luckily, I am used to random situations and just tried to make conversation the best I could. We ended up with some nice shots!

Create a Wardrobe Gallery
Easier way to get dressed in the morning. This is also on my iPhone, I can pick my outfit while laying in bed drinking my coffee!

Create your personal "Look Book."

I was watching the beloved Rachel Zoe Project  when I saw her and her team  doing a lookbook of Rachel's new clothing line. This is what designers do to organize and showcase their products to clients before they hit the runway. Well, this got me thinking...why not create my very OWN look book?  Just like the fabulous Rachel Zoe, I want my wardrobe to be fierce and organized before I step onto the " fashion runway" of Sweden's streets.

Take a quick snapshot of your outfit and either create a collage online or make prints to pin up in your wardrobe. By infusing my major statement pieces with my basics and styling them differently, I create fresh looks that I can wear day after day! Well, that is until laundry day comes...then I will be spending the day in my cutest bikini to tvätt tvätt tvätt. ;)
